I just got Footy Manager 08 and i am stuck picking a team, i dont want to be chelsea, man utd, madrid or any big teams but i dont know who i should start off as..

Well if you dont want to be a big team, give Birmingham a try, if you say you can get into europe you can get yourself about £9 mil to spend.
I managed to win Prem in my first season, but its hard,and a good challenge, if you decide on brum have a look for the birmingham thread, or let me know and ill give ya the good players and tips.

i might try that the only problem is im a leicester city fan so there not my first choice team to use...
i will try them if i cant find anyone else good to use...cheers

Fair enough, i would be the same as i obviously support birmingham lol.

Well Man city are good, you get quite alot of money, or Portsmouth, they are very promicing.

If your willing to leave the Prem, be Lyon, and go on the thread to get help, they are a 'Big' team, in their league, but not in europe and thats the challenge.
