*Stud Muffin*

Howdy mates, just wondering if anyone can tell me how to apply textures? I know it's a really noob question, but I don't know how to get the texture onto the sig, I know how to blend it, but I can't put it on.

Any help is appreciated.

First of all create a new layer.
Than edit->fill->new window opens->choose under contents: use "pattern". now you get all your "uploaded" pattern and can choose one of them.
If you have downloaded some new pattern and they do not appear on your assortments klick on the little arrow below, and then the small arrwow-button on the right. choose "prest manager"* and load one of your pattern-files form your directory.
after all you press done, or... if you didn't have to load a new pattern just "okay". and there it should be.

Thanks mate, but when I downloaded it, I saved it into presets<textures and now it's not there? Any help?

Hm... is it a *.pat-File or just an *.jpg or any other picture-file-format?
cause... if it is a *.pat it goes into presets/pattern.
if its not a *.pat file... hum... i dunno. ^^
no... i think you should open it in a normal way (if it is a jpg or something like that) and than you go under edit->define pattern. than you name it and press okay. and now you should be able to choose it out of your "pattern menu".

Alright thanks, but another noob question.

I jsut downloaded winrar and I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. I don't know how to extract anything because the textures are in .rar form so they won't open now.
