David Thompson is a good English AM RC, who starts thegame without a club IIRC. He starts without a club on 8.0.0 and 8.0.1, but im not sure about 8.0.2

Chad Barret was an American i always got when managing in the MLS.

Some Daniel Franco or so... a south american AMC with great passing iirc.

Just look around in the league itself some great youngsters there like Jozy Altidore, Abdus Ibrahim, Israel Sesay.
Try to get some experienced players like Wanchope or Xavier. If you can find one of those you know they'll win some matches for you. (Urzaiz is good for MLS)
