Hi

I was wondering if you start a new season with a club , is it good to go out a buy 4 or 5 players straight a way ?

Should you do it over a peroid of time ?

Thanks

I've found that signing a few players at the start of the season doesn't help immediately, but as long as they are good players they will come good in the second half of the season

If the team needs it, yes. If it can do perfectly well without, don't.

Basicly, if you feel the team needs a makeover, have one. Take this season as a transitional one. Use it to get the new boys used to each other. However, if you merely want to upgrade your team, slowly works best. It's easier for one new player to adjust to the team than it is for ten to. But then, i'd rather ten superstars unused to playing with each other than ten donkeys who have played together since the age of 8, but have 1's and 2's in their strengths.

Also, after posting i realised that i should add that players from other clubs in the same league will tend to adjust far faster than players from elsewhere. In 8.01 I brought Martins to Arsenal and it only took 4-5 games for him to click, where as a striker from spain probably would take 6 months plus.
