At the moment, Man City are after one of my goalkeepers. I am after one of theirs. They haven't stuck a formal bid in yet...

I'd be happy to do the swap, however my keeper is worth a tad more, and is probably better at the moment. I think theirs will be a star, but would want 2-3mil to balance the deal.

As it stands, I can't initiate this transfer. What i'd like to do is, in effect, offer them my keeper for 3mil plus their keeper.


Any chance of this getting included? Not something i need as much as the whole loan type thing, but still something that would increase my enjoyment.

I agree, I've always felt that this is a slight flaw in the transfer system, there are many occasions when I would have liked to try and set up this type of deal.

couldnt you just go to their keeper and offer 3 mil and exchange of your gk, or i am missing something here?

I guess you're missing something. I couldn't go to another club and offer(for example) Petr Cech(my GK) for Craig Gordon plus 5 million.

Could you not offer your keeper to them for, say, 8m.

And then when the offer comes in, negotiate for teir keeper + 2m?
