Hi

I'm a fairly novice PC user and English isn't my first language either, so I apologize in advance if I'm not explaining the situation well or using the correct terms, but here's a problem I have after having downloaded the 8.0.2 patch.

My current system's screen resolution is set to 1440 x 900 pixels. But when I try to run the game by clicking on its .exe file, my monitor now suddenly and automatically re-adjusts the screen resolution to something like 1024 x 768 let's say (I'm not sure what dimensions exactly). But basically, everything while running the game then becomes much BIGGER as if it's too zoomed on the text, and needs to get more zoomed OUT.

Funny thing is, I didn't use to have this problem and the size of everything was as it should be and wouldn't suddenly change upon starting the game.

Appreciate any ideas on how I can get rid of this problem.

Are you playing the game full screen or in windowed mode?

try playing in windowed mode as thats what i do

try adding this command line to the short cut on your desktop --fullscreen_height=900 --fullscreen_width=1440 it might help.

Thanks. How would I do that?

I've always played on 'full window' though and would like to keep it that way.

Try out what i said in my other reply, thats still full screen.

I was asking how would I exactly do that? How would I add that line? To where?

Right click on your FM 08 shortcut, in the 'Target' box.

I did that and now things are definitely smaller.

In fact, I'd say, now it's smaller than I've ever played with before and has gone a little over what I'd want.

But now that I know the command works, I'll just re-adjust those height and width numbers till I find the right balance, I suppose.
