No problem.

5 out of 10 not bad. If I'm looking at my Strikers coaching reports, i mostly disregard what my defensive coaches say... that can sometimes make it 5 out of 7.

Yep. The tip Iamaros gives is a good one. Often on the "Coach Report", I use that menu and just get a few of my scouts who have good JCA/JPA to have a look.

Another helpful tip when money is tight, unless there are other teams interested in a player, is to take them on trial at first, rather than buy them on the strength of a scout report. This allows you to take a closer look, and look at all the coach reports on him. However, if there are other teams putting in bids for the player, or offering him contracts if he's unemployed, they usually go for one of the teams offering actual jobs over you offering a trial.

Plus I've noticed aswell that the initial report isn't always accurate as apparently the staff reporting on them to need to see them in action as it were. So I'll often have a coach say a player's potential is at one end of the scale, then 5 or 6 months later that can change which I'm guessing is a simulation of the staff member seeing the player concerned in training day in day out, plus performance in matches (U18/Reserves/First Team whichever is relevant).

Rather than getting a coach report right after they sign, maybe wait a few months so the coach can see him in action. Just a suggestion
