Hello everyone,

Over the past couple of days I've been working on this skin based on Hattrick (an online football management game, very popular, most of you will know it).

Well, I've come to something of a dead end. I've finished the top bar but now I want to modify the drop-down menu's. This is what has happened:

What has gone wrong? I have uploaded the nine modified files if that helps anyone who might have a clue whats wrong:

It's the first time I've actually made my own buttons and things instead of simply recolouring, so I'm a bit new to it.

all youve done is delete (erase) the top part of the drop down menu.
easy to fix all you have to do is go back to the base skin copy the file that is missing, looks like the box_top_middle to me, found in graphics/menu.
paste it then rework it :thup:

That's just it, I've changed the box_top_middle one already.

You need to make the bits that havent appeared properly at least 99% opaque.

Ah, no worries I sorted it.

There's been a pretty radical improvement overnight and I want to show you what I mean here:

<LI>Once again I've hit a bit of a dead end () because I want only that section on the left to have black text, and I don't know how to do it! If push comes to shove I'll have to make all the text black, and I'm not sure if that would look right? Thanks in advance to anyone able to help...

<LI>Which brings me on to my second problem.

I want to have (instead of an envelope) the word "Mailbox (1)" (obviously the number represents the amount of new messages). I would prefer it if the mailbox text was black and if the number and brackets was red. How do I do this?

<LI>Finally, the date. I want to move the date so it is visible, preferably down to the bottom right hand corner next to "Continue", preferably instead of "Continue". The short date will do fine, (i.e. "Wed 13 Sep 2005: 4:30").

I don't know if all of this is possible, but if I can pull it off I'm sure the skin will turn out great!

I don't know if anyone is tracking the progress of this but here goes anyway...

The skin is slowly approaching the final stages of development now and there are only a few more bits and pieces that need to be sorted.

There are a few graphical bits and pieces but one thing I do want to move is the date.

Ignoring all previous requests, how do I move the date from where it is now onto one line and to the left of where it says "Continue" (towards the top)?

This is now pretty much the only thing. If anyone is interested to know, I'll be creating other colour versions of this and possibly a couple of club ones too.

Looks ace - if only you could make the team display area a little darker, it seems a bit too light, or maybe it's just the background?

I'll use it once (or if) you'll release it, though :thup:

Cheers mate, I'll defnitely release it (at some point ).

That bit you mentioned did come to my mind too so I'll change that and make it a bit "duller".

As I'm sure you'll understand, I don't want to release it just for the sake of it...its got to be just so.
