Read the FAQ - you've obviously not installed the skin correctly like many others

You've either not installed the skin correctly or there is a problem with that skin and the 5.0.3 patch.

You can reset your skin to the default by doing the following...

1) Press 'Windows key' and 'R'
2) Type in regedit in the space provided
3) In the left panel browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Sports Interactive Ltd > Football Manager 2005 > Version 5
4) The list on the right should now update
5) Find the 'skin' entry in the 'name' column and right click on it and choose 'Delete'
6) Now run your game and see what happens

If i remember rightly this problem is caused with the skin folder being in another folder.

Ie : CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\skins\fade_to_black\fade_to_black

When it should just be

CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\skins\fade_to_black

If that clears it up
