After seeing
this thread, I had a quick go at making a skin to do this in FM. Basically with this skin, you can't see any attributes on the player/staff profiles. Some people like idea of playing this way.
If anyone here wants to change the colours around, or has fixes for the problems I posted, you can change this yourself if you want to.

Instructions-
Simply download the file, then unzip it. Place the folder (make sure you take the maskedattributes folder out of the folder of the same name) in C
Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2005\data\skins (obviously different if you didn't install to the default place). Load up FM, and change the skin to Masked Attributes, if you haven't installed it properly (eg taken the folder out of the first folder), the skin details won't show up correctly (eg Author and version no.)
There are a few problems, you can view attributes by using the view menu. I don't know which file has these on, but I could probably remove them if someone knows. You can also see staff attributes on the staff screen. If you don't use these screens though you shouldn't see any attributes. Also you won't be able to see your own manager attributes, but I don't think thats important anyway if you can't see anyone elses. There may be a few small problems in other places, not sure though.
Im not really interested in using it, but it didn't take long to make. Thanks to Justin_P for suggesting changing the background and attribute colours in the first place. I'll probably upload it to sortitoutsi as well.
