i also downloaded a match of the day skin and it is taking ages to load up but the programme it responding. shall i just leave it or has it gone wrong?

it should load straight away.

To be sure you have installed it correctly, extract it to your desktop. Ensure that you copy the folder containing the files ( there maybe a MOTD folder inside a MOTD folder, just make sure you copy the folder with the files inside, not the folder with the MOTD folder inside, I hope that make sense )

go to C:/program files/sportsinteractive/footballmanager2005/data/skins, inside this folder you will see the folders containing the Metalic ( default skin ) and any other skins you have, just paste, there should now be a MOTD folder with the metalic etc. Now start FM and choose the skin from the options. If it doesn't load this time then DL the skin again
