I'm not about to quote system specs but suffice to say, the faster, the better.
And as for the data editor last year. It's ironic that the writer or the fastest editor last year, also happened to write the official editor this year which has been given so much of a drubbing for its memory hogging!
One thing I've noticed with it though is that when it is in the main application, it takes up 99% of system resources, regardless of what I'm doing. When I click on something else, the CPU usage drops. Whether this was an intended feature or not is unknown but the editor shouldn't need to hog my processor when it's idle.
