hi all i downloaded a finances editor for a bit of a giggle but there is no read me file with it so i dont know where to extract it too or how to use it any chance of a bit of help please

Well done, for using such a witty and informative title, and for calling it 'a finances editor'.
You need to put the name of the editor in the thread title so people know what they're looking at.

FM Modifier? MCFM? Dr Huzaballoo's FM Finance Editor?

I don't know this editor so I can't help you.
If editing finances is all it does then maybe I should recommend either MCFM or FM Modifer as they allow a lot more besides.
