Yes. There's one packaged with the game.

And there should a shortcut in your Start menu.

No. Sorry. There is no other pre-game editor for Football Manager currently.

The only one is the official one.

I think the likelyhood of that happening is high as SI have released the structure files of the database. There has already been some work into a pregame editor for FM05 but it's not really anywhere concrete right now.

You say the official FM2005 pre-game editor is packaged with the game - where is it? There is no link to it in the start menu.

It should be under "Sports Interactive"
If not, simply open the game folder itself. There you'll find the editor exe file.
Remember to back up your data before editing!

Thanks for your amazingly quick response (2 minutes!) I wasn't expecting a reply until tomorrow! Yeh I found the EXE, for some strange reason the link to the editor in the start menu was called "Web Sites", even though there was also a "Web Site" program group. No idea how that happened. Anyway, thanks again.
Oh, do you know of any quality data updates for the new season - I usually use the Dugout, of CM-Sorted, but the Dugout is a bit behind and CM-Sorted appears to have gone!
