I'm currently using the FM editor (fm 2007) to update some winter transfers and at the players contract section i've noticed the "full time contract" tick box is sometimes blank and sometimes ticked,When all the players i've seen are obviously all on full contracts?Why is thisThanks for your help.

How it seems to work ...

Pro clubs - full time contracts

semi pro clubs - full and part time contracts

amatuer clubs - part time contracts


I've noticed some exceptions in the past though

It's the inconsistency that is doing my head in,As i said before the "full time contract" checkbox on the contracts section seems to act totally randomly.For example Man Utd,Every players "full time contract" checkbox is ticked and then over at Inter Milan the majority of checkboxes are left blank,So this leaves me thinking that the checkbox actually does,And means nothing?

If theyre left blank maybe a "random" contract is generated?

I believe that it only affects players at part time clubs. All players at full time clubs(except youth players) are on full time contracts by default, it is just for part time teams who have 2 or 3 full time players.
