The database has Klinsmann as a "Director of Football." He has, of course, agreed to be Bayern Munchen's manager next season after Hitzfeld resigns.
Is there a way to set the game up so Klinsmann will replace Hitzfeld after one year? Or if I want Klinsmann as Bayern manager long term do I need to make him manager from the begining of the game? (Is this already coded into the game even though it doesn't look like it from the editor?"
Also, in my 8.0-8.1 game I had tried to make Klinsmann manager of Tottenham (a couple of days after I started playing they hired Ramos), but for some reason he disappeared from the data base completely when the db when to game. I decided to keep it as it led to some interesting managerial chair swapping (I might even play my next game with some intentional manager swapping to make it interesting).
My question is: did changing Klinsmann from Director to manager mess something up? If I want a "manager" Klinsmann can I just change his non-player job description or will I need to "create" a new Klinsi?

Isn't Klinsmann "an insurance policy" lad? :p

"Insurance policy?" Not sure I take your meaning. Do you mean an insurance policy for Bayern or is that a slang/idiomatic term that doesn't translate across the Atlantic?
