Im in my 2nd season with United currently sitting proudly atop the table. However i have lost all games versus arsenal. Much to my horror i was then drawn them in the champions league semis. Lost first match at Old trafford 4-3, when it should have been about 6-1 . Two mistakes from Gallas let in rooney and henry missed 3 sitters. Currently using a variation on the barcadomination tactic but arsenal just seem to pass it around my midfield and i always seem to be chasing the ball!!! Any ideas for a tactic in the second leg to help neutralise the arsenal midfield???
Simple. Fabregas is almost garanteed their playmaker. Make sure the ball doesn't get to him and you've got it. I have no idea what kind of tactic to use but as long as Fabregas doesn't get it, you're good. Btw, I've played as Arsenal, but never against them. What formation do they play?

id turn the barca domination into a 4-5-1. simply move one of your strikers into MC so you have:
GK
DR DC DC DL
MC MC MC
AMR AML
FC
Your team will still be the same going forward but also move difficult to get through the midfield. it works for me!
I am currently playing as Utd too and after finding Arsenal at the top of the table and unbeatable (lost 3-0 at the Emirates) I decided to change my tactic for the return tie at old Trafford. I went for a 4-2-3-1 formation with Rooney in the hole behind Saha up front. Kept the players creativity to a minimuim and passed the balls down the flanks - ran out 4-0 winners with Kerlon scoring a hatrick from the left wing!
GK - Akinfeev
DR - Neville
DC - Vidic
DC - Ferdinand
DL - Heinze
MC - Carrick
MC - Giggs
AMR - Ronaldo
AML - Kerlon
AMC - Rooney
ST - Saha
