Hi
I nearly always play a 442 formation,
and do very well!
But in the last 5 or so games i got heavy defeats!
And the media said it was the lack of willingness to change from 442!
So i changed for 3-4 games and lost 2 drew 1!
went back to 442 and did ok nothing great but defo did not loose!
Do you guys have a few tactics and change about alot?
or stick with the same one?
have you got different tactics foe home and away?
Cheers

I always used to play with 4-4-2, but have noticed (NOT WINNING) that its not working. So I come up with this crazy tactic, will post when I get home, which has turn me from just avoiding relegation to 3rd in one season
Its a crazy 4-3-3, you guys will love it

i tend to stick with the same tactic, but i,m considering changing it just before kick-off, but in doing this would it disrupt the players or will it favour them and put of the opposition, any feedback on this would be grateful. when i have changed it though i,ve usually done it before i click go to match and i always get 0-0 when i do, but doing it when i,ve clicked go to match might work.

Unless you are one of the really top teams in the league, I think you now must have different home and away tactics, as well as further variations for the last 20 minutes or so, to shut up shop or throw the kitchen sink at the opposition.
Personally, I now have 4 base tactics as I think you need different home and away tactics depending on whether you are playing stronger or weaker opposition.
I don't think you necessarily need any different formations though, just changes to player instructions, tempo width etc

I've never tried changing tactics just before the match, but |I have read a few posts by people who report that it does seem to take the computer teams by surprise doing that, so could be worth a try.

I use one tactic and just change my roles from game to game. In 6 seasons with Arsenal i've won 6 major trophies and two minor .
