If your at a lower league club, and all you can get are coaches with terrible stats:

Is it better to have no/few coaches than having bad coaches?

Do bad coaches have a negative affect on your players?

I did a search for this but couldn't find what I was after.

Well I wouldn't recommend too many coaches.

When you go to sign one, the board tell you how many they want you to have, and indeed how many you currently have, I try not to exceed the boards wishes.

Check your salary budget aswel. Normally I find signing coaches takes me over my budget, and prevents me from signing any needed players.

My view is to produce a good set of tactics, and make sure I have got all the players I feel I need, yet to stay under my budget, and worry about coaches later on in the game, maybe after promotion or when you have alot of cash spare.

Your current coaches should be good enough for the league your in to start with.
