Listen folks, this is a forum. People can say whatever they want. That includes venting their frustrations.

This is not a place for everyone to jerk off to their love of FM.

Well said Goldsniper, the fanboys really do have their tongues in the groove(s)...

As far as I see it, no one has a handle on the game yet. One 'expert' will expound on their favourite theory for success then another will post theirs...which usually contradicts the first.

Any successful theory is no more than exploiting a game weakness-'cheating' if you like since as the man says this is not a simulation its a game and the aim of a game is to have fun. I get most fun from winning-so I want to know how to do that.

Unfortunately since 05, the best way to beat the game has been to sit and watch little circles and dots erratically moving around a small screen-I dont wish to do that. I'll read the commentary and watch my oppopnent change his formation and try to act accordingly-but I can't stand the inconsistancy. Win 5-0 one match and then be played of the park the next by the second bottom team who are playing away from home.

Bring on the patches.

BTW can anyone turn off the bloody 'hints n tips'. I do not want to read that 'pace' is reuired for a 'pacey striker'...

I have to disagree I have been playing as spurs first 5 games lost three drew two then started getting good results then won 11 in a row beating chelsea away man u away arsenal at home using 4-4-2 attacking meaning success breeds success and players like consistancy

I'm finding that defensively there is a huge problem. In almost every game my defenders, regardless of who they were or how good they were just passed the ball to an attacker inside my area. Or just dwelled on it in the box and got tackled. Now as Leeds in my first season I accepted it as VERY realistic! Anyone watching Leeds this season will know that but by the time I was in my fourth season I had Hyppia and Woodgate and Steven Taylor, all doing exactly the same thing. I played Chelsea and John Terry handed me a goal, sadly Chelsea scored 6 in the first half and declared at half time.
I also find Arsenal impossible to play, over a four year period my aggregate score (no exaggeration) against Arsenal is played 8 , scored 6 and conceded 52!!

Thats the whole point, i'm not a fan boy, but i'm not a arrogant fool like these people who seem to think that if they can't win all the time then it MUST be a bug in the game.

Your inconsistant, i'm not and neither are others, so either there was a rouge batch of FM07 thats full of 'inconsistant bugs' or your just not very good at the game but can't admit it.

Go on, carry on the old fan boy name calling, it just shows you for what you are. the people who find real bugs post in the bugs forum with evidence, not moan like a 12 yr old girl about nothingness then call eveyone who points that fact out a fan boy.

In your 4th season Hyppia would be around 36-37 which would account for him being crap. Steven Taylor plays for Newcastle, enuff said....
