It's getting very frustrating. I'm playing in Finnish Premier league with FC Lahti. Won league cup before season started winning 7 games and playing 2 ties. Then start of league 4 games 4 wins goal difference 11-0. Then 5 games 0 wins 2 ties and 3 loss, goals 1-3. Every game we got lot more chances than opposition. But every win they got they only had one shot on target one goal, and two shots on target and two goals. We got lot more chances but can't score. Makes it frustrating to waste all free time with this game and get no reward.

I'm sorry but this game so far is really crap. I feel like in every game the AI decides everything: if they want to attack they camp in my own half and there's nothing I can do no matter which tactic or stetegy I employ.

In my game I'm a poor side and I dont mind if I loose most of the matches, but when I play on my home ground against weaker sides I want to attack. Again there's no way to do it if the AI decides to play attacking football. It's very irritating and I'm considering to give away my copy of the game and yes I've read all the thread on this board about tactic.

I'm starting to think that not even SI know how the match engine works and what to do in order to play football the way you want.

yep, vote with your feet and F*&k off to another forum, i never one a thing in my first season with Liverpool, finished 3rd, but now in my second season i'm rated as a world class manager and things are a little easier.

I've offloaded all the under performers and brought in some youngsters due to lack of funds but am currently 6/0/0 in the league and top of my CL group.

I'd say this is due to the fact that all the players in my team now actually respect me as i'm no longer a manager without pedegree.

Besides i seem to remember about the same ammount of people saying the same crap after the release of FM06 and i think SI could probably tell you that this version sold better than that one.

All you moaners just shut up and play FM06 until someone else does the hard work and creates a tactic where you can get what you want, domination of every competition, every year until you start threads saying the games to easy and you won't be playing till it's made harder.

How amusing. Are you saying that these people have no valid point? Just because there are many people who arent amazing tacticans, doesn't mean they shoulnd't be able to enjoy the game. I am not very good at making tactics, but I still try and fail, and I can see why the complexity and consistency of the game can get a tad bit annoying.

You think that every manager irl who goes on a losing streak says, 'i'm losing patience, i've tried more tactics than you could shake a stick at, i'm never buying real life management again'?

You don't have to be an amazing tactician, you could be like Pardew and just strike luck and find a winning formula. Thats the beauty of this game, it's like real life, not everyone can win all the time.

Some of the best managers out there irl have been saked at one point or another due to it not working, but they don't come out blaming life, 'it's not me, my players, my tactics or the 1,000,000 other things that if overlooked could mess up the best laid plans, it's life programed against me in the harshest way'

THATS why the moaners are jokes, valid points or not, if it goes wrong and you get sacked, apply for another job, learn from your mistakes and press on. Not every club will have 5 star coaches, or a sugar daddy and winning all the time is not where the enjoyment should come from in this game. I enjoy the running of the football club and every time i lose it just makes winning feel better.

So, here are your toys, your dummy and a copy of cheat training, cheat corner and FM06 to keep you happy till your ready to take football management like a man.....
