for destroying my pleasure of playing FM (and the old CM) for 15 years. You have made this game so hard so unrealistic and made it to only fit the young theoretical lads that loves to sit hours and hours and fittling with tactic twitching etc. etc.
You have now destroyed my pleasure of playing a game thats isn't supposed to be as hard that you have to spend hours to find a tactic for a team.
The goalkeepers of the opposing teams are always to goos while your one is always to poor. Eks: I always get a 20 plus chance game everytime, but hardly score any goal and that with strikers with shooting of 17-20. They can't seem to score at all. This is what I mean with unrealistic. When you have good strikers and have a lot of chances you suppose to score a bit more than 0 or 1 in each match!!??
And when the opposing team only have about 4-10 chances every game, they always score more than me. This happens no matter my defence is standing low or high. The difference is that when my defence is standing high, I produce a bit more chanses (but don't score much more), but conceede a lot more. If my defence is standing low the opposing team always gets the better half and score more than me. So no matter what I do, nothing helps and I have tweeked and tweeked and tweeked and tweeked my tactics in all kind of chapes an forms. BUT NOTHING HELPS. And now I'm sick and tired of the whole game.
So thank you Sega, for destrying the pleasure of playing the (used to be) beautiful game of FM
Noel: Not everybody loves to do all the tweeking with the tactics. Some of us just love to play and beleive that we do a great job when winning. I only want a playable game without all the tweeking and tweeking. It drives me mad
The new Football Manager is supposed to be more realistic, which it is.
Your argument is that your team create X amount of chances each game but don't win every match.
Well, Kevin Keegan's Newcastle created a lot of chances per match, but how many trophies did they win? A big, fat '0'!
The best managers spend time analysing. You don't think Mourinho, Benitez, Ferguson, Capello, Lippi etc... are successful just cos they pick 11 players without much thought then say "Go and play football" to them do you?
All those manager do this for a living, I do this a couple of hours a day. I only want an enjoyable game and not make all the work a reallife manager has to do. This is only a game afterall
Noel is it realistic to adjust tactics just before the game to try and beat the AI, is it realistic to change arrows positions etc to beat the AI, is it realistic for teams with the best players to be beaten consistantly by cr*p players because I havent spent 4 days trying usualy by trial and error to get a tactic that works for my team.
A lot more people buy the game than spend hours on the forums and they seem to have forgotten about them!
