Hi guys, ive just started a new season, and employed aload of new coaches to get all the ratings upto 5 stars. Now ive just checked back on my coaches afew games into the season and the defence has gone down to 4 stars!, and i havnt touched a thing. I have one coach on each area so its not a workload thing. Anyone any idea's??, is it that coaches fluctuate during the season now???

I think it's a bug. I've had the same problem and it was also in the defence training.

Can anyone from SI confirm if this is a bug that known??, i have read the known issues thread but couldnt see it.

I have seen this too...I think coaches attributes do change during the season now (obviously, since the stars changed).

As a test, I ran an ingame editor, put all stats of a coach to 20, and kept playing the game. The odd drop to 19 was seen, but this could be because it was blatant "cheating". I wonder if it works the other way round too, and without any use of an editor (so the attributes change by themself).

coachs stats rise and fall in fm07 at spurs inglethorpe went from being rubbish to being an excellent coach in 2 seasons.
