Amaroq thought i should re-post this here, so voila:

4-5-1 fix

In 8.0.1 a lone striker was devestatingly effective at times, hence SI appear to have "fixed" this by making him play as a FL, rather than playing in between the two CBs he'd just follow one of them - a bit daft i think you'll agree.

In the above thread i've outlined how i managed to make him play in the middle (it's halfway down the thread) so i hope it can help anyone who's having issues with 4-5-1.

Any chance you could upload your tactic? I play a lone striker with my Charlton side and cant seem to get it right in 8.0.2 even following your instructions.

nice one. i was having the same problem and found playing really narrow improved it somewhat but who wants to be that narrow lol
