Could users here please not ignore me because I am playing FM 2007. I am playing it because Im new to the game and thought well I'll pay a fiver instead of paying 20 pounds when the new one is out in 6 months time.

Anyway... I am playing as Spanish side Real Sporting S.A.D in the LIGA BBVA. I am curretnly tipped for promotion and that is what the board expect of me. I have made a shakey start to the season.

HERE is my squad. I wheeled and dealed in the transfer market and managed to sign Pascal Cygan and Robert Koren on frees.

So three games into the season and I am finding Spanish football difficult to adapt to as I started and I'm only familiar with the English style of football. here are my results so far (sorry about poor pic)

I play a flat 4-4-2. I generally like to play attacking football using the wingers but am struggling to input what i want into what actually happens. Many times Koren will leave his centre midfield role and enter a defensive role rather than linking the midfield to attack like i have set him to do in player instructions.

I generally play with these Team settings:

Mentality- 15
Creative freedom- 11
passing style- 14
tempo- 15
Width-12
closing down- 16
time wasting-5
Defensive line- 8
Tackling- medium

I have no other options selected.

I am here asking for some help from maybe someone who has played with a spanish team.

I'm not a tactical guru but I will say that Glassy's Best tactic worked wonders for me in 07. Got me in to the Champions League with Sheffield Wednesday after 5 seasons. Worth a shot.
