I use the tactic that Cleon made in his sheffield united game and that's working after the patch. With Spurs i'm second in the league behind Arsenal who are 6 points in front but we should be closer as i thought we should have beat them instead of losing.

It didn't affect my tactics negatively, but it did however seem to affect my training negatively. Pretty much all my players have dropped one or more point in most stats. I don't think I have a single player with 20 in more than one attribute. And I have a world class squad.

I'm going to go back to default training now to see if it has any effect.

I agree with above. Ive just noticed how a lot of my players have had all their attributes dropped, especially my key players too which really has me miffed.

I decided to start a new game with Liverpool (I was playing Newcastle with 8.01), same tactic with couple of minor changes.

I am still doing ok, I do very well against big teams when I play narrow and slow and tend to play a little wider and quicker against crap teams.

I have noticed I am scoring lots more from long range efforts and corners. Agger has so far scored 3 headers from corners and 2 from long shots!!!

I also find when I give forward arrows to my attacking midfield L/R all the way tot he striker, they actually do go their and not to the byline like in 8.01 patch
