I've just started a save with Peterborough and since this is my first game outside the Premiership on fm08 I could use a few recommendations on signings.

I need some quality players, some bargains and some talented youth players.

I have 200k to spent.

I aksed my board to find me a parent club, so hopefully that'll work out.

I've bid 18k for Doudin. If they don't accept I'll make a new offer.

But I really need some more recommendations.

You might need the Icelandic database to get Finnbogason. Really cheap (might even be free) and a good striker who develops well.

Another good free player (pos: MC) is Albin Ekdahl.

Esmir Sabic is a great free signing as DC for lower leagues.

Don't know what happens to these after 8.0.2 but they are great and free lower-league signings in 8.0.1.
