Default Help on getting the best out of Jimmy Briand

I'm currently using Manchester United and bought Jimmy Briand as backup for Rooney and Tevez but whenever he plays he seems to only get 6's. I need help on how to get the best out of him since people on this forum says he's good. I play a 4-4-2 Formation.

First - he is a foreigner so may take time to settle in England.

Second - He is young so may take time to find his feet. Bless his little cotton socks...

Third - You are probably playing a personalised tactic, which he has never played before, so he may take time to adjust.

Four - Jimmy likes through balls, some creative MC's will give him that, you may even want to make him a designated Targetman and have TM set to 'run onto through balls'.

Five - Jimmy is pretty good in the air, strong and fast, so have wingers smack crosses in, and he will do the rest.

Hope that helps.

Lol he didn't even take time to settle in my Man Utd Team. He scored 12 in 9 games and I'm using a personalised tactic. I play him up front as lone striker with Rooney and Tevez behind him as the 2 AMCs. I have wingers making with farrows into the box, so it looks like a 4-1-2-3. I have Briand as targetman with supply of Run onto Ball.
