McGeady is one of the most talented players to come out of Scotland (he was born in Glasgow, only Irish through grandparents) in recent years.

Along with Scott Brown he should be playing in the premiership.

They are both brilliant.

here we go, this will descend into another thread with either celtic fans and rangers fans slagging each other, or, english folk telling the scottish folk how bad the spl is.

So aiden mcgeady, yes he is a very gifted player who has improved massively since he first broke through at celtic, and yes he has proven his class with celtic in europe (think the first A.C Milan game or most recent Benfica game) and ireland although not so much, he was very good against a brazil team far from full strength but still a fantastic team.

But, would he get a game for chelsea, real, man u or the likes?? i doubt he would be a first team regular somehow, maybe if he were to keep improving at his current rate he will but i cant see it. Just on the last post there, Alan Hutton cannot defend! He is good going forward but the educated rangers fans i know will admit he has a lot to add to his game.

I hate how everything is over-egged by everyone trying to argue their point on these forums, the guy who is in love with mcgeady clearly has the green tinted spectacles on, but so do do the folk who continually bad mouth the scottish league.

Bleh.
