Just thought I'd say thanks to this forum as i'm now into season 33 and still using the same rules, that i did when I started out with Reddith.

And as such the Barcelona fans of 2039/40 are pretty happy.

And for anyone who hasnt tried it, i think this way of doing things is the best way and have helped me make this version the best i've played.

I do agree with Chappers72 though.

I haven't been playing as a LLaMa for a long time (only one and a half year I think) but since then I have enjoyed the game more than ever.

So once again a valid point has been made!

I took over as Barcelona manager in my save in 2021, I left after about 2 months to go to help Leicester City get out of the Championship and back to the Premiership.
I did not like the Barcelona players' attitudes. Bunch of moaning minnies.

I find that FM08 has given me the most enjoyment for quite a few years.

I agree it is by far the most fun way of playing.
Even though i dont always start in the lower leagues i still follow the concept with the scouts and shizzle
