Just wondering how people were finding scouting with 8.02.

I've just started a new game with Droylsden and sent my scout to England; after waiting for two months he's yet to report on a single player in his reports section.

Anyone else had this problem. Should I just sack him and get another scout?

I hasd exactly the same problem when using 8.01 patch so I nothing unusual in your circumstance other than a lazy arse scout.

As for sacking him that's your call, you're the boss after all.

As long as someone will eventually find me some players I don't mind!

I like to play the LLM way so need scouts to work.

Mine are lazy bastards too. Found their first players two weeks after the registration period closed :thdn:

In England I find scouts don't seem to come back with a player until after the second leagues fixture or so, but then come back with heaps in a short period of time. Certainly makes it hard to use pre-season to integrate new signings.
