Right,
so I moaned my ass off about 8.0.1 and the shot's to goals ration! Now I'm actually thinking about going back to 8.0.1 because 8.0.2 makes even the worst striker deadly and the best goalkeeper awful, I was my beloved blades playing Sheffield FC in a friendly and won 4-2, Sheffield had 2 shots both from outside the area, both of which flew into the top corner from players that can only be described as p*ss poor.

Further, I started a game as Milwall and conceded nearly every shot and scored nearly every shot, I finally gave up after 12 games of the season, I think I'll put FM to bed for a while?... who am I kidding, I'll probably start a new game tomorrow.

I hope that i'm the only one that this is happening to, if not, I hope SI can fix this for FM09?

Anyone else found this as an "issue?"

Every single match I've played so far (about 8-9 matches) have ALL had 3 or more goals in them.

8/9 matches ended up in me scoring 3 goals

1/9 I scored 4 goals

0/9 where I scored less than 3 goals.

Left a bit. Left a bit more. No, go right. Right. Left a bit. No... right. Bit more... Bit more... There... No, not there! There... Left a bit. LEFT!

In case you are wondering, that's the sound of the goalposts constantly moving. People will never be happy with this game.

Personally, I find checking the following four statistics makes the game very enjoyable:

Wins
Losses
Draws
Points

I didn't want to complain, but teams in real life don't just win 9 games in a row scoring 3+ in ALL of them.

IMO the scores in 8.01 were ok , and i didnt see a need for that to change , but or some reason SI decided to make scoring easier , therefore creaing unrealisitc scorelines . so my preference would be for the scores etc to be the same as 8.01 as it is in 8.02 , but include transfers and try to work on board confidence , as well as reducing the amount of shots in a game and the superiority of grey teams .

wait, I think I've got it. Why doesn't everyone go and become game developers. That way we could all have the perfect game tailored to our own wants. Perfect shots to goals, perfect scorelines, perfect realism of results for 'good teams' vs 'crap teams'. Everything would be sorted, and then we could only complain to ourselves!
Man no wonder SI have a hard time getting the game just right, because its bloody impossible to please everyone all the time. I'm all for making legitimate criticisms and constructive feedback, but this really is becoming a joke. Maybe folks need to step away from their pc's and get outside and kick a real football around for a bit!

i agree with the poster. i had an issue with shots to goal ratio on 8.0.1 but now it seems to be the other extreme. I play as Bromley conference south and my last 6 games have contained 37 goals  with my striker (immense, pedro esterilla) has scored 11 goals in the past 4 games :o. My centre back has also scored 4 corners in 7 games and is my 3rd top scorer. A bit too far i think.....
