An Idea For Match Screen Viewing On Next Version Of Football Manager
In the latest versions, we can already see the ball "up in the air" with the shadow underneath. The players have shadows too but you do not see the player icons "jump".
I was wondering if it wouldn't be too hard a job for the programmers to make the players jump as well?
Picture it in your mind, and tell me if that simple addition wouldn't make watching games more fun. You could then tell if a striker has headed the ball into the net, for example, and in general would make the matches look even more "alive", whilst still retaining the bird's eye perspective that FM employs (which I personally prefer instead of 3-D, since it's a tactical game not a joystick action game).
What do others think?

I'm pretty sure this use to happen. When the player jumped, the blob got slightly bigger, when he was on the ground, it got smaller. Never understood why this was removed TBH.
