I just thought i'd share the fact that i google earth the places that i manage at and wondered if you FMers do too.
I start a career unemployed and got a job at Farsley Celtic. They are nicknamed "the villagers" and i can see why. Located near Leeds and Bradford with a measly population of 26,000 (according to my internet sources). I google earthed it and i wasnt sure if i was looking at the stadium or the local park.
My time staying in Utrecht in the Netherlands and especially my current stay at Lecce, Italy have been a very pleasant stay. I took the Lecce job thinking, "yeah, i could live there." A nice looking place right on the "heel" of Italy. Very warm weather and if everyone wanted to watch the match i could have over 100,000 women men and children attending.
Many people, including my girlfriend would laugh at me but i like to add to the realism any way possible. I dont quite get suited for a cup final but im from that school of FMer.
I dont mean to knock Farsley, im sure you have some great nights at the local pub and dining out at Kebabsolutely. I got them promoted second season but bailed end of contract when i realised i had no chance of keeping them in the league.
The dreaded "didnt do a search before he posts" strikes again. There is a thread just a few days ago. Well maybe like me some people didnt see that and might find it interesting.
I always 'google earth' my stadiums and even check out the surrounding areas a bit. Sometimes it gives a good indication of whether the stadium can be expanded. If it is a decent close up image I have also a taken a screenshot and used it as pc background.
