Default Wandering goalkeeper

Updated to 8.0.2
Seems okay other than my goalkeeper now insists on wandering half way down the pitch every time I attack. I have conceded 3 goals in 3 matches because I have been attacking, my gk moves towards the halfway line, their defender gets the ball and scores from inside his own half.

It isn't because of my tactics - I play 442 with wingers pushing on:
GK set to default keeper
FB set to default fullback
CD set to default centre backs
Wingers
CM set to dm and mid
ST

I play: normal attack, short pass, slow build up, using a lot of width with avg creative freedom for my midfield.

How do I stop my keeper wandering?

I suppose you could set his Mentality all the way to the left "Ultra-Defensive" and the same for his creative freedom - (although this might affect his rushing out and distribution too?).

Does he have high eccentricity, low concentration and/or decisions?

Hi
Should have said - my keeper is Artur Boruc at Celtic. All the settings are fully to the left with quick throw for distribution. It's quite bizarre - sweep up by all means, but not 10 yards from the halfway line.

I haven't yet played since I patched - but I'll see if my keeper does anything similar.

It probably won't help you though, I'm playing i Blue Square N where crazy things are the norm!

That is strange. Has he got any weird PPMs?

I loaded the patch last night and played 3 matches with it. Haven't seen my keeper wander.

What are PPMs?

Perhaps Boruc is just garbage in this game as he has conceded 2 own goals from simple pass backs, and seems to flapping around in the area alot.

Having said that, he does flap a bit at times IRL.

PPMs are Preferred Player Moves that you can find listed on a player's Positions screen.
