I'm not normally one to moan but getting a job is insanely hard.
I started as the Chile manager and thought that I'd easily get a club job as well I'M THE CHILEAN MANAGER but obviously I was wrong.
Basically I've been hitting the space bar frantically waiting for jobs to appear and when they do and I apply for them. But nothing, no one wants me. The only clubs that do are Championship strugglers with the worst teams imaginable or Chinese teams with 10's as the best attribute.
I have a continental reputation which must stand for something but nothing, nobody wants me. Brazil, Argenitna, COLOMBIA FFS, Chile, Mexico, most of Europe, nothing. It's getting beyond a joke now.
It's been 10 months in game time and I'm still waiting.

Ah that's nice to hear. I know that I'm not the best manager in the world at the minute but surely becing an International manager would give me some sort of credit. It's strange, thanks for taking it on board.

In the meantime, why not take one of these?
The theory being, if you can save 'em from relegation, and get them mid-table, maybe a Championship side with better long-term prospects for promotion will give you a shot.

I just fancy something a bit more 'up market' if you get me. At the minute I've applied for everything yet getting nothing in return and since it's November (11 months since I started) it's starting to **** me off.
Is this ocuring because of the new patch because I'll revert back to the old one if this is the case.

Just out of curiosity, I scanned Wikipedia for "next jobs by former managers of the Chilean national football team". The list was pretty incomplete, as few Chilean national team managers had an entry, and few of those that did had gone on to anything else. All I came up with were:
- Yokohama Marinos (Japan)
- Club América (Mexico)
So.. maybe your expectations are too high?
If you want a really high-visibility club job, maybe start there, instead?
I've never done, but I could imagine this working out for you:
Start Manager A at high-profile club X.
Start Manager B at Chile.
Manager B retires after 1 day.
Manager A applies for the Chile position.

I don't think my expectations are high to be honest. I was Uruguay manager before and got a Premier League job with Reading instantaniously. Uruguay and Chile are hardly worlds apart.
I'm going to stick this through, I'm going to get to the World Cup, get as far as I can, hopefully end up with a World Class reputation and get a job at last. All I know is to never do this again >_>
And Wikipedia doesn't always hold the answers
