Hi!

I am experiencing an issue where I can not overwrite the existing 8.0.2 patch database after changing Per to After (Defoe) in Portsmouth´s finances.

I try to save it as something else but when I start the game I can not load anything but the Default DB, 8.0.1 and 8.0.2.

I´m very happy for Spurs to be vastly healthy and doesn´t care what happens to Pompey, but I´d prefer it to be realistic!

Am I doing something wrong, can anyone offer me some assistance on this matter please!

I had this problem also. On the editor's options make sure the user data folder is correct and that all boxes are ticked.

In case the above didn't work out for you, are you "saving", or "saving as"? You need to "save as" to make absolutely sure a new database is created (unless there is another problem).

Are you saving with as a new database with a new name?

Also, you may want to correct the Diarra error on the same tab as Defoe: change Chelsea to Arsenal as recipients of the transfer fees.

I´ve installed the game under "Cgames\fm2008" and think as Chaddy101 said I changed the user data folder and now it works!

And as for David Nugent. Portsmouth owe money to two clubs, Preston and Bury (?). Is this correct ?
