i am playing everton who are fifth in the league and face reading which has surprised many by maintaining champions league spot on 4th, i face them with two games to go and 2points seperating us. it is one of those games i really wanna win but AI has something else planned for me as all my tactics have failed and it takes two of my players to guard their one! they play counterattack in 442def and is possibly a bug as i have tried every formation and all combos of team and player instructions. nuthin works....i can post screenshots if u like, pls. help!!
There is no way that you could have tried every single connotation of tactics and formation.
Sounds to me like you are trying very hard to attack them and you are getting hit on the counter-attack. Playing with a more balanced tactic against counter-attacking teams is the way forward. Be patient and build play up rather than going gung-ho.
