Hi,
I finally got a laptop and ordered FM 2008.
Now I downloaded the demo version to see how it runs on this laptop. Starts up just fine but when I put it to windowed mode it says settings not accepted or something like that. My screen is a 15.4inch with the resolution at 1280 by 800. When I start the demo i want to play in windowed mode and it say that it cant. please help. Thx

there a topic abit further down on this mate. were they have worked out how to do it hope it helps

Hi,

Create a new shortcut for FM and change the target to

"CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" -small_screen -windowed

When you run this shortcut, it should now be windowed at your proper resolution.

I tried this on my laptop but it didnt work. However it works with the command "CProgram Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\fm.exe" --width=700 --height=900 --small_screen. Hope this helps anyone.
