Do you;

a) Use the editor to correct the mistake with defoe's contract clause, to stay faithful to realism and the balance of the game.

b) Don't change a thing, let Portsmouth fall into debt while you become richer and richer each game Defoe plays, allowing you to buy that key wonderkid and going on to win successive titles.

The only Spurs-supporting FM player I know cheats anyway - he creates a second manager to take over Portsmouth (as it happens) and buys all his unwanted Spurs players for inflated prices.

He also complains that West Ham have a transfer budget similar to Spurs now - he thought our annual teo-player hotseat games were much fairer when Spurs had £15m and West Ham had £1m!

I can't see him correcting the database tbh - "Too much hassle," he'll say. :thdn:

Portsmouth have an overinflated bank balance anyway, like they can't aford Manuel Fernandes and they need to sell Benjani Mwaruwari to buy Defoe but the still start with 50 million. So stay true to the game .

After I fixed the bug (plus the Diarra one) I started a game with Spurs and after chosing "winning title" when the board asked me for a prediction, I got £30 million, so I don't need the bonus Defoe money
