I first read this on the susie forums. his was originally7 Jack Judges idea and I take no credit at all for this idea. We were wondering whether this is possible? And if it is,is anybody willing to do this?

I wish they had used that font in the game.

It's not possible to have kit manufacturers and shirt sponsors in there (not to change between teams anyway)

If nothing is added to the database it could be generic stuff, like: local brewery, local media etc

I would also like the ability to somehow see stadiums in the game, either this way, or some other way. Perhpas you could add a bunch of pictures for every club, they could be thumbnails and clicking them opens a new window with that pic.

There are alwasy going to be too many problems with getting liscences to do somthing like this from scratch.

I have an idea on how SI could work this with the new game so that you could add aftermarked graphics.

It could work in a similar way to importing graphics now:

You specify the location ('graphics/stadia/stadium') in the .xml and that it is a team dependant graphic somehow, then rather than look for left, right and middle versions of a graphic the game would look for a team name after 'stadium_' (for example 'stadium_sunderland' or even 'stadium_uniqueID').

This would make it possible to import all sorts of pictures into the game that changed with the club ('badge_sunderland' , 'sponsor_sunderland', 'location_sunderland' etc) - something that skinners could add.

Obviously it could be hard due to licences etc. but like sounds, there probably is a way this could be done

What if these sponsornames where just added to a textfile or something? Like in earlier versions of the game you added media to a text file instead of into the db. That way it would also be easyer to download different files.

And pictures could be assigned if they had the same name, instead of id perhaps?
