I'm trying to get the Chameloen and Wrap Around effect on skin, where graphics change colour depending on the teams colour.

I want the title bar and side bar to feature the 2 colours for the club in the graphics, what file to edit to do this and what do I put?

I've searched this orm high and low and looked in the XML files of skins but with no luck.

I presume you get the basic gist of how skinning works so I'll give an example bit of code that should help you out. This is a widget from Wrap Around:

<attachment class="get_global_attachment" get_property="fcol" set_property="colr"/>
</widget>

This shows pretty much how do the colour chaning thing. The first line tells FM where to look for the picture you are adding. The rthr="68" needs to go on the end for colour changing too.

The second line is the layout for the picture.

The third line is the important one. Here we see code telling the game to get the property "fcol" which is the foreground colour of the current team. This property is then set as the colour of the picture. For the background colour this changes to "bkcl". You can set text to these colours too in the same way. It helps for your pictures all to be the same colour when recolouring them. I set it as the default bright red in my graphics package.

Experiment with different base colours for the panels cos you can get some really good looks... and some just don't work!!

Thanks lads that help a lot

However I'm trying to overlay a picture onto the footer ticker bar but it won't display properly, I'm using the above code and the picture does display but only the right side and even that is aligned wrongly :S

Any ideas?

Sorted it now, I needed to put with the widget in a container and align it with the container properties
