I am looking to start creating my own skins and having read a guide on how to do it, I read it as you are only editing a current skin with your own colours?

Is that right?

That is the best place to start until you become more confident with xml.

You could also try asking this question where the guide is posted rather than on a completely different website of course...

flmao yeah i suppose I could however the reason I went to that site was because THIS forum recommends this guide so I guessed more people on here would have used it.
