Help please - I've created the XML document, and the game recognises that pictures should be there, but it only shows the pic every now and then, but most of the time there is a big gap where the pic should be - what's going on?

Have you tried waiting? It sometimes does that but I wait and it should work If not, then i dunno

Sounds like you have the players assigned in more than one xml file in different folders but in some where there is actually no picture.

If a player is listed in more than one xml file the game randomly chooses a picture to display which could be blank it would appear in your case
