Default FM Comparer - watch for skills progress

I made program for compare two reports maden by FM Scout. It's usable for watching skills progress of any players in saved game. All you need is make two reports in FM Scout for different dates: select all columns (later you can disable any of them in Comparer), load game, make list of players you want to watch and choose "File - Export" and save .csv file. Next load this reports in my program and start processing. Radio buttons at top of window select reports or list of difference. Doubleclick on any player opens window with skills arranged like in FM. Right mouse button click on columns select columns to show or hide. You can save any of reports in HTML with "Save Table/Players" button or RMB click on this button and select export type.

Download .rar file and extract it somewhere. The run FMComparer.exe.

I hope I can help someone.

PS. Sorry for my bad english .

Sounds interesting - as is your location.

Might be better off in the Editor's Hideaway forum, but anyone downloaded and tried this yet?

I don't know where it will be better. But there some relation to training in program .

PS: Why you think my location sounds so interesting? There are many FM fans in Russia, and many forums about this great game .

SO what you mean is that If I am looking for a DR to replace my rangers right defender I look up a list of players now and again like in 2 months time in the game and then use this program to compare the stats ?

Do I need to save the lists somewhere or what ?

Please explain a bit further what I would need to do with both reports/lists .... save them somewhere or what ?

weird ! I went to save the lists/reports i could only save them as .slf files from memory. Are you sure it is used with fm scout and not with fm2005 game itself ?

How do I save them as .txt files or as .csv files (i think) ?

I post tutorial tomorrow I hope.

For now: You can compare two players (like DR about you wrote). To do this you must save to reports in FM Scout in .csv format (File - Export). First report at begin of then watching period, second - at end. The compare this reports in FM Comparer.

For the beginning FM Scout should be downloaded and installed.
1. Start FM Scout.
2. Select File - Options and pass to tab Columns. Mark all columns.
3. Then, having chosed File - Load Game, load save game and with collect the list of players which progress is necessary for tracing.
4. Export the obtained list in the .csv-format (File-> Export).
5. Play FM the amount of days equal to period for which progress it is watched. Save game.
6. Repeat steps 1-4 for new saved game.
7. Start FM Comparer. In appropriate fields it is selected the first and second reports. Press the button "Process!".
8. For switching lists there are radio-buttons above.

Hints:

Double-click on name of the player will show the window with the information on the player located similarly FM.

The list of columns varies with the help of the window accessible with the double-click of right mouse button on the name of columns.

It is possible to export lists in HTML the appropriate button (the automatic mode), or having RMB click on this button and having selected the necessary mode of export.
