FM Scout

This first version of FM Scout is developed for Football Manager 2005. The program will make it possible for you to find just the right player for your team, by giving you the option to filter the players by almost all possible attributes, both those visible and those hidden in the game. This program will help you scout for the right players, whether you are managing Real Madrid and on the lookout for the next big international star, or some small team in one of the lower leagues, looking for some cheap quality players that can improve your team in your quest for promotion. When you have found a list of players which fits your profile, you can export them to a shortlist file, which can be opened in the game and make it easy for you to submit offers for the right players.

Besides helping you in scouting for new players to improve your team, the program is also very helpful in deciding which of your current players are good enough to actually be a part of your team. This can be done by quickly listing all players in your team, or just the players in one of your squads. This feature of the program can also be used to scout your next opponent, to figure out if they have any good players which you'll have to watch out for.

Zeuth, i just downloaded the fm scout thing and think it's really cool but was wandering what the difference between value and sale value was?? Also, i'm kinda confused about how CA and PA work, so if you could explain that in detail it would be great.

value is the value you see.

sale value is the value from which they will accept your bid.

ca = current ability
pa = potential ability.

200 is the max possible.

So what if a player has a CA of 185 and a PA of 190? Does this mean that they are not really going to improve much more???

Also, some of those sale values are pretty rediculous!! There's no way I should need to pay 70,000,000 for Emerson when his value is only 24,000,000!!!!

185 to 190 can be quite a bit, 190 is closer to 200 isn't it? lol

and yes, 70m for emerson is a lot, but that is the value that the club will accept from.

Can be used to find decent stars with a price you know they will accept.

also about fm scout, what is the scout rating thing??? it gives a percetage, of what i don't know???
