First of all, let me say that I'm a big fan of FM. Eversince it's ben on the market. I even have a copy of the very first CM93.
Second of all I'd like to say that I really appreciate this forum and like picking up information and discussing with other people
Now even though I love this game, there are two questions bothering me.
1) Eventhough SI have admitted that there are a fe problems in the game.Peole keep on playing it.Why??
2)How is it posible that with all thes bugs, people are still enjoying the game?

i play the game, enjoy the game and succeed on the game and tbh, the only bug that i have noticed that bugs me is that it isn't Roy Keane on his profile. sounds like your annoyed because you might not be doing aswell as you may have done in previous versions.

I think a lot of people, me included, have held off on starting a new game until the patch is released.

I still occasionally play a couple of matches in my current game but not very often as I plan to start again on the patched version. There is still a lot of what's in the current FM07 that won't change and is new from FM06 so there's still plenty of interest!

The game is stable and there's no game breaking bugs I've noticed.

I don't know, there are a few bugs thats spoil the game, although i am so addicted i still play!
The bugs mainly seem to be in the training. I think there have also been complaints about set peices, i thought so too until i stuck the correct players in the correct positions, Ballack as near post flick on with corners, superb!
I have to admit i can't wait for the patch too though.

Yeah, there are bugs in the game, I've logged some myself in the bugs forum, but this shouldn't stop you from playing the game. I could understand if your version of the game was unplayable, such as a string of hard CTDs preventing you from continuing the game's progress.

I've made mods myself for other games, and believe me its a painstaking task to iron every single bug that exists in a game. You need forum feedback to identify them for yourself, check them out, and then think up a way of removing / preventing the bug(s) from ocurring in the game. It also depends on how a game is coded because some games are easier to modify than others.

This game has plenty of support though if you feel you're in a dead-end; try a web search or use the weblinks in the sticky topics at the top of this forum to address your issues. Hopefully future patches will be save-game compatible; if not I'll just start a new game from scratch.
