Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default A Solid Tactic

A good 4-1-3-2 Formation.

This has been tested with Brighton and so far has been very good.

Solid defence and good goals ratio.

Tactic

Forgot to add on the post that you should set your attacking level to high or all out at home and high when away.

Always set this when you have done your pre-match team talk.

All player instructions and team instructions are included in the tactic.

I have now been using this with Brighton for three months and have gone on a 5 match straight wins run. These fixtures include Home and Away trips.

Please try the tactic and let me know if you find any tweaks that help.

Thanks

one of only a few tactics that has worked for me at leeds.Other tactics posted on here which seem to work for every1 else never do for me.Lost only twice in 14 games with this tactic all though it does produce a lot of draws.Always very tight games with normally 50 50 possesion and similar shots on target.

Skinner05 When you have done your pre match team talk go to the team instructions and turn up the attacking up to one notch sort of all out attack.

I have been on a run of twelve games with one draw. I have had wins of 4-0 and 5-2.

Hope this help you out.

my only question with that though is all your players are set to individual mentality instructions so surely doing that doesnt change anything because they arent set to team??

Not sure why but it does work for example I was two nil up against Leicster in the carling cup and then set the tactic to defensive as they were pressuring me. The team started to hold the ball more take care of their passing.

We won the game 2-0.
