Ok, this is my first attemp at a tactic for 2007. The Boskovic Regime 2006 eventually got my vauxhall motors side to the premier league and a UEFA cup win bearing in mind it took 4 years to get out of the Conference North.
Well i tried my 2006 tactic with 2007 and low and behold it flopped. i decided to start from scratch and this is where ive come up with The Boskovic Regime 2007.
Ive decided to scrap the 4-4-2 and go for three center halfs, wing backs a DM two center mids and two up front. basically a 3-3-2-2 sort of formation. Ive gone for a counter attacking mentality but it seems that we are almost always pressing the opposition so i have decided to leave it as it is. It is important to have a half decent DM to play just infront of the defence and a strike pair who can put away their chances. Now bearing in mind ive been testing this with Vauxhall Motors a side expected to battle bravely against relegation from the Conference North, you must understand that i use the term half decent in the loosest form possible.
This has not been tested with anybody but the Motormen so be aware that it may not work for big teams. It is still in a very early development stage but is a good base to work from if you want to try and adapt it to your side.
This is also a work in progress and that with my first attemp at this game i got the Motormen relegated but this was whilst using the old 'Regime' until i was in a big hole and the new 'Regime' was developed to try and save me but we eventually slumped to relegation but not without the biggest battle for survival ever. After two years in the wilderness i decided no jobs were likly and i retired to start again. this time from the off ive used 'The Boskovic Regime mk3' and have been rewarded with much better form and once one or two new signings settle i should be pushing for play offs.
ok, im a few games into the season and this seems to be working great for me. with the same players i had when i got relegated using my old tactic im now in 6th place and unbeaten in 4 winning my last 3.

I'm also playing vauxhall and archived promotion on first season ( finished 2nd place ). But now at nationwide coference im having hard time getting off the relegation zone, so a new tatic would be welcome.
This is very similar to the tactic the AI has started feidling against my own recently, and just as they r u look very vunerable to decent flank attacks
i am having troubles keeping a clean sheet but the goals dont seem to be coming from one set area. we have won 8 on the trot now so im not willing to change yet but when the run ends im open to tinkering a bit.
Just gone top of the league after my latest victory so things are looking rosy
