It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Tactic, Training and mental

Hai, this is my very first post. So, I apologize if perhaps there is another post same as this.

Currently I'm playing FM2006 6.0.3.

I'm managing Liverpool and from the first 4-5 month, my squad played good and nice, never lost in EPL. But from the beginning of January, everything became very hard, I kept mainly draw and lost. I used same Tactic (442) all the time. I made the tactic by using tactic guide I found in this forum.

Because of that, I began to think that there's something about my players which made them play badly. So I suspect that Mental and Training affect how my team play.

my questions are:
1. How to maintain the Mental of the player to be always motivated? because I believe that Mental is above everything in FM.

2. How to syncronize the Training so that it improve the performance wth the Tactic along with Mental? maybe about choosing the right Coach?

Well, that's all

For FM2006, morale plays an important role both in training and in games.

If you notice that a players morale is slipping, then there is usually only one way to improve it...which is to get him to play on a winning team. If he is striker he needs to be scoring goals.

One way of getting players morale back is to move them to the reserve squad and manage a couple of friendlies, get them to play some weak opposition and get the strikers to score.

A winning stretch is always great for morale but if you begin losing then you need to work much harder..it will take time but that's the reality of football as well. There's no better tonic than winning

Morale indeed has an effect on performance, but personally, I think Morale is not that important. In mid-season, there's a lot of minor team compared to my Liverpool, and since I'm winning all the time my players have superb morale, but somehow when my team play, their motivation seems low? not like the beginning of the season.

Well, I guess the most important part to stay on top is not always superb morale or good tactic, but High Motivation. And the only thing I know about increasing motivation is through Release Comment before match, BUT it also increases my next opponent's motivation too... well, it's really-really confusing.

So, what I need is an enlightment about how to motivate my squad so that they will give 110% for the team.

See, great tactic like synax's, flabarama, fluide or from wwfan will be useless if the players' motivation is low. I've experienced that.

Well, if someone could point me to somewhere informative, I really apreciate it. Thanks.

It sometimes feels like the new emphasis on morale and team talks/motivation completely undermines a lot of the tactical planning we do in FM2007.

yep, I agree. So I think, to have a world beater team, we - as manager:
1. should have the ability to motivate greatly.
2. nice tactic.
3. nice team.

And, I myself, have accomplished number 2 and 3.
